About The Position

Laurel Crest Retirement Community is seeking a professional and compassionate Transporter to support residents’ mobility needs and enhance their quality of life. The role involves transporting residents to activities, scheduled trips, and medical appointments, while helping accommodate resident needs and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness. The position is part-time and scheduled for Wednesdays and Fridays only.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• CNA license.
• CPR certification.
• 1–2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely and on time to individual and group activities, scheduled trips, and medical appointments.
• Prioritize schedules and resident needs to accommodate the greatest number of residents.
• Regularly update and maintain the schedule list.
• Assist with residents’ needs when required or directed.
• Keep the vehicle clean and complete a vehicle safety check before transporting residents.
