About The Position

Laurel Crest Retirement Community is seeking a professional and compassionate Transporter to help enhance residents’ lives and support their mobility needs. The role involves transporting residents to activities, scheduled trips, and medical appointments, while prioritizing residents’ needs and helping with other resident needs as required. The position is part-time and scheduled for Wednesdays and Fridays. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid South Carolina driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

CNA license.
CPR certification.
1–2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Transport residents safely and on time to individual and group activities, scheduled trips, and medical appointments.
Prioritize schedules and resident needs to accommodate as many residents as possible.
Update and maintain the transportation schedule list regularly.
Assist with residents’ needs when required or directed.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete vehicle safety checks before transporting residents.
