About The Position

Dynamic Transit is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Coordinator to support fleet operations transporting freight across the lower 48 states. The role ensures compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations and promotes a company-wide “Safety First” culture. The position is on-site only, and applicants must reside in the St. Louis area to be considered. Pay is based on experience.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and transportation safety compliance.
Safety-minded and committed to leading and supporting a “Safety First” culture.
Transportation or trucking industry experience is required.
Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and general computer skills.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must reside in the St. Louis area.

Responsibilities

Promote and support a positive safety culture throughout the company.
Monitor and maintain compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations for fleet operations.
Review, document, and follow up on accidents and incidents involving company equipment for insurance claims, reporting, and collection purposes.
Coordinate accident-related documentation and communication with drivers, insurance representatives, and internal departments.
Assist in maintaining safety compliance records.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Complete additional safety-related duties as assigned.
