About The Position

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time construction Site Safety Coordinator in Pecos, Texas. The position ensures implementation of IES and client safety activities, supports safe job planning and training, and helps identify and correct jobsite hazards. Travel may be required.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. The position is subject to pre-employment, post-offer background and motor vehicle record checks.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of commercial electrical experience in a related position.
• High school diploma or GED.
• OSHA-30 certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, and Blood Borne Pathogens certifications.
• Successfully pass a post-offer pre-employment background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent jobsite inspections and ensure corrective action is taken to address deficiencies.
• Work with foremen to plan safe methods for non-routine job tasks.
• Participate in jobsite safety meetings and periodically attend foreman toolbox safety meetings.
• Conduct jobsite safety orientations.
• Assist with safety training as necessary.
• Conduct field training on all equipment for all employees.
• Assist with hazard recognition and corrections.
• Provide on-site first aid and CPR capabilities.
• Comply with all company and client safety policies and procedures.
