About The Position
The Remote Site Safety Coordinator supports a remote construction land camp and oversees daily camp safety, employee hydration, incident reporting, and general site compliance. The coordinator must live on-site for the full rotation. A private room and meals are provided. The schedule is four weeks on and two weeks off. The role includes monitoring camp conditions, conducting safety walkthroughs and hydration checks, documenting safety observations and incidents, supporting toolbox talks and safety training, and serving as an on-site contact for emergencies and first-aid response.
Requirements
- Experience in safety, emergency response, or remote operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct hazard identification, workspace inspections, and safety audits.
- Ability to stay on the remote site for the full rotation.
- Ability to write clear compliance reports and deliver safety training sessions to frontline employees and management.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid or similar certifications.
Responsibilities
