About The Position

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time construction Site Safety Coordinator in Lubbock, Texas. The position ensures implementation of IES and client safety activities, helps maintain safe jobsite operations, and provides on-site first aid and CPR capabilities. Travel may be required. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of commercial electrical experience in a related position.
High school diploma or GED.
OSHA-30 certification.
OSHA 510 or CHST.
First Aid, CPR, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications.
Successfully pass a post-offer pre-employment background check and MVR check.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Ensure implementation of IES and client safety activities.
Conduct frequent jobsite inspections and ensure corrective action is taken to address deficiencies.
Work with foremen to plan safe methods for non-routine job tasks.
Participate in jobsite safety meetings and periodically attend foreman toolbox safety meetings.
Conduct jobsite safety orientations.
Assist with safety training as necessary.
Conduct field training on all equipment for all employees.
Assist with hazard recognition and corrections.
Provide on-site first aid and CPR capabilities.
Comply with company and client safety policies and procedures.
