About The Position
The Remote Site Safety Coordinator supports a remote construction land-camp and oversees daily camp safety, employee hydration, incident reporting, and general site compliance. The coordinator must live on-site for the full rotation. A private room and meals are provided.
Requirements
- Ability to stay at the remote site for the full rotation.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct hazard identification, workspace inspections, and safety audits.
- Ability to write clear compliance reports.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in safety, emergency response, or remote operations is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid or similar certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor man-camp conditions, safety, and occupancy.
- Conduct hydration checks and heat-stress prevention.
- Perform daily safety walkthroughs and support toolbox talks.
- Document safety observations and incidents, and prepare weekly reports.
- Serve as the on-site contact for emergencies and first-aid response.
- Deliver safety training sessions to frontline employees and management.
