About The Position

HDR is seeking a Transportation Roadway Intern for a Summer 2027 internship in its Transportation Business Group. The intern will contribute to roadway transportation projects and gain real-world project experience while connecting with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs. Assignments are performed under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer or Project Manager. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Commitment to being an active participant in HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• Preference is given to local or regional candidates pursuing a Civil Engineering degree during Summer 2027.
• Prefer two years completed toward the degree and a 3.0+ GPA.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry.
