About The Position
Barge Design Solutions is hiring a summer Roadway Intern in Birmingham, Alabama. The internship is intended for a dedicated college student seeking practical experience in civil engineering while learning from mentors and leaders. The intern will collaborate with team members on ideas and innovations, support engineers with project deliverables, and gain exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation and the preparation of construction documents. This is a paid, in-person internship requiring 40 hours per week. Interns are not eligible for company benefits, and housing assistance is not provided.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited university.
- Must be majoring in Civil Engineering.
- Must have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to students who do not require sponsorship.
Responsibilities
