About The Position
Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Civil Engineering student for a paid, full-time summer internship in Atlanta, Georgia, during Summer 2026. The in-person internship offers the opportunity to gain work experience while learning from mentors and leaders. Interns will collaborate with team members, support engineers with project deliverables, and gain experience with roadway design software and construction document preparation. One position is available. Interns are not eligible for company benefits, and housing assistance is not provided.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering at an accredited university.
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to students who do not require sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members on new ideas and innovations.
- Support engineers in completing project deliverables.
- Gain experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.
- Gain experience preparing construction documents.
