Roadway Intern
About The Position
Barge Design Solutions is seeking a civil engineering student for a paid summer internship in Birmingham, Alabama. The intern will gain practical work experience while learning from mentors and leaders, collaborating with team members, and supporting engineers with project deliverables and construction-document preparation. This is an in-person internship with full-time hours of 40 hours per week. One position is available. Interns are not eligible for company benefits, and housing assistance is not provided. Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering at an accredited university.
- Must have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Preference will be given to students who do not require sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members on new ideas and innovations.
- Support engineers in completing project deliverables.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.
- Prepare construction documents.
