Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • California Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering design.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microstation/Open Roads.
  • Ability to work efficiently to meet project budgets and schedules.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, agency review staff, and utilities.
  • Ability to compose concise technical reports, memorandums, and other written communication.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with state and local design standards.
  • Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with client and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and design of transportation projects, including state highway work, interchanges, roadway design, drainage systems, storm water management, and utility relocations.
  • Preparation of contract documents.
