About The Position

An established, multidisciplinary consulting firm is seeking a Transportation Project Manager for its Cedar Rapids team. The role leads technical projects through all stages, from business development and initiation through planning, execution, and close-out. The Project Manager gathers the internal and external resources needed for complex projects, serves as the main contact for the project team, and mentors and trains junior staff. Salary is commensurate with experience. Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience.
• Ability to negotiate.
• High personal and professional standards.
• Understanding of DOT design principles and submittal processes.
• Project management experience.
• Proven experience developing and completing projects.
• Experience successfully managing projects.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree in architecture, business, construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
