About The Position

An engineering consulting firm with offices in Minnesota is hiring a Transportation Project Manager for its Des Moines team. The role includes managing and designing transportation infrastructure projects, preparing technical and bidding materials, supporting project proposals, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining client relationships. Remote work may be possible. Salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience in mobility or transportation engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• MnDOT project experience.
• Project management experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, including project planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC.
• Design transportation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare details, specifications, bidding documents, technical reports, and regulatory permits.
• Work with the team to review and respond to project proposals.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
• Manage client relations, including virtual and in-person meetings.
