About The Position

Apex Companies is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer to help deliver transportation projects and support the growth of Forsgren Associates, a recently acquired Apex company. The position involves preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents; coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies on permitting compliance; and supporting projects through bidding, contracting, and construction. The engineer will also develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets, prepare project budgets and schedules, and provide technical guidance and quality control.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Idaho, or ability to obtain it within 6 months.
• At least 3 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience designing transportation facilities for state transportation departments and local jurisdictions.
• Experience with ITD procedures and requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak design software.
