About The Position

Apex Companies is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer to support transportation engineering projects through design, project management, client coordination, and construction support. The role prepares engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents; coordinates permitting compliance with clients and regulatory agencies; and develops project budgets, schedules, and scopes. It also provides technical guidance and quality control and supports clients during bidding, contracting, and construction.

The position is with Forsgren Associates, a newly acquired Apex Company. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Montana, or ability to obtain it within six months.
• At least four years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience designing transportation facilities for state transportation departments and local jurisdictions.
• Experience with MDT procedures and requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak design software.

• Support clients during bidding, contracting, and construction.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
