About The Position
The Transportation Coordinator responds to Operations Service Inquiries (OSIs) and inbound calls from sales representatives and other Medline employees. The role determines transportation modes for moving products or raw materials between branches, into manufacturing facilities, or to Medline customers. It communicates with carriers, operations and sales teams, and customers as needed; supports department initiatives such as scheduling and inside delivery; and secures rush carriers and rescues when necessary.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Transportation Coordinator or in a related position.
- Knowledge of transportation practices.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis.
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Finance, or Business, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with SAP.
Responsibilities
