About The Position
The Town of Plainville is seeking a substitute, part-time Transportation Coordinator for the Plainville Senior Center. This is an on-call position with no set schedule; hours are assigned as needed based on operational demands. The rate of pay is $21.22 per hour. Sick leave is provided consistent with State of Connecticut Regulations, and no other benefits are associated with the position. This position is not union-eligible.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate daily Dial-A-Ride services.
- Organize driver routes.
- Communicate with passengers and drivers.
- Respond to ride requests and schedule changes.
- Maintain accurate records and ridership data.
- Provide administrative support.
