About The Position

The Transportation Analyst supports the analytics team within ODW LTS by cleaning and analyzing internal and external customer data and helping create companywide metrics. The role develops a technical and business understanding of data, combines information from multiple sources into usable datasets, and works with business leaders and stakeholders to identify performance measures, data-quality issues, and process improvements. The position also documents process flows as business ideas are developed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to process, sort, and use data to tell a clear and compelling story.
• Skilled at communicating technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and reasoning to large or ambiguous issues.
• Familiarity with best practices for data mining, data cleansing, and data visualization.
• Proficiency with data-pulling and manipulation tools such as SQL, MATLAB, Stata, R, Excel, and Python.
• Familiarity with creating, refining, documenting, and automating processes.
• Strong business acumen and financial literacy.

Nice To Haves

• Educational background or coursework in computer science, data science, engineering, information systems, or economics, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in supply chain or logistics.
