About The Position

The Solutions Analyst (Transportation Analyst) supports the analytics team within ODW LTS. The role involves cleaning and analyzing internal and external customer data and helping create companywide metrics. The company seeks motivated individuals who can contribute to its growing analytical team.

The position calls for developing a technical and functional understanding of data, compiling information from multiple sources into usable datasets, and working with business leaders and other stakeholders to define performance metrics and improve data quality. Analysts also document process flows and help create, refine, and automate processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to process, sort, and use data to tell a clear and compelling story.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and reasoning to large or ambiguous issues.
• Familiarity with best practices for data mining, data cleansing, and data visualization.
• Proficiency with data manipulation tools such as SQL, MATLAB, Stata, R, Excel, or Python.
• Familiarity with creating, refining, documenting, and automating processes.
• Strong business acumen and financial literacy.

Nice To Haves

• Educational background or coursework in computer science, data science, engineering, information systems, or economics, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in supply chain or logistics.
