About The Position
Brock Health is an assisted living facility dedicated to residents’ well-being and happiness. The Transportation Aide safely transports residents to and from appointments, helps them board and exit vehicles, and coordinates schedules while communicating with residents and their families. The role prioritizes residents’ comfort, safety, and dignity. Occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required.
Requirements
- Valid and clean Maine driver’s license.
- Must be at least 25 years old for insurance coverage purposes.
- CRMA certification.
- PSS certification or equivalent.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to handle responsibilities with reliability and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to and from appointments while ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Coordinate transportation schedules and communicate effectively with residents and their families.
- Assist residents with boarding and exiting vehicles, prioritizing their safety and dignity.
- Work occasional evening and weekend shifts to accommodate residents’ needs.
