About The Position

The Transport Technician is responsible for safely moving patients, related equipment, and charts from one location to another throughout the hospital. The role includes safely transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers using appropriate patient-handling techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Some experience in a customer service capacity.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients, related equipment, and charts throughout the hospital.
• Move patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers using appropriate safe patient-handling techniques.
