About The Position
The Transport Aide transports residents to scheduled appointments and other events as assigned, helping ensure their safe transfer and providing quality care. The role involves van driving, multitasking, and communicating with staff, customers, and families. The aide is expected to encourage a positive, supportive team environment. On-the-job training is provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Class E License.
- CNA or CMT certification.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Transport residents to scheduled appointments or other events as assigned.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and comply with traffic rules and regulations to ensure residents are transported safely.
- Communicate with staff, customers, and families.
- Encourage staff to provide positive, high-quality care.
