About The Position

Southcoast Health is a not-for-profit health system serving communities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The Transport Aide performs transportation and related duties to support efficient movement of patients and equipment and meet patient-throughput expectations. The role is located at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts, and works under the supervision of the Manager, Patient Transport, or designee. The schedule is 24 flex 32 hours, on a day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with work every other weekend and an assigned holiday rotation. The pay range is $15.93–$22.51 per hour, determined based on experience.

Requirements

• Education equivalent to completion of four years of high school.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• One to three months of experience.
• CPR certification must be completed during the orientation period.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or personal exemption by signing a statement after hire.
• Work every other weekend and assigned holidays.
