About The Position

Southcoast Health is seeking a Transport Aide at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts. Under the supervision of the Manager, Patient Transport or designee, the Transport Aide performs transportation and related duties to support the efficient movement of patients and equipment and meet patient-throughput expectations. The schedule is 24 flex 32 hours, on the day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with work every other weekend and an assigned holiday rotation. Pay is based on experience, within the listed range of $15.93–$22.51 per hour.

Requirements

• Education equivalent to completion of four years of high school.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• One to three months of experience.
• Complete CPR certification during the orientation period.
• Be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt once hired.
• Work every other weekend and the assigned holiday rotation.
