About The Position

Crawford’s Transmission Final Assembly position is responsible for building and testing products to meet Quality Control expectations and deliver quality products to customers. The role requires strong attention to detail and uses general handheld tools and computer programs to complete assembly processes. A Dyno (test stand) Operator runs completed units to validate build quality. The position is in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment emphasizing problem solving and analytical thinking. A training process is provided for the successful candidate. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime. The starting rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift, which may be approximately 8–10 hours.
Ability to use handheld tools such as torque tools, a hammer, and a screwdriver.
High attention to detail.
Computer skills are preferred but not required.
