About The Position

The Final Assembly Technician performs cable-finishing and final assembly operations to produce high-quality cable assemblies that meet production standards, workmanship requirements, and customer requirements. Tasks include installing components, applying labels and markers, attaching hardware, and verifying completed products. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical documentation. The technician uses finishing tools and equipment, maintains production records in the Epicor ERP system, follows safety protocols, and keeps the workspace clean and organized. The position also involves collaborating with team members and supervisors to address production challenges and improve processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficiency with tools such as heat guns and other finishing equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Technical training.
• Experience in cable assembly or a related field.
• Familiarity with an ERP system, including Epicor.

Responsibilities

• Apply markers to cable assemblies according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to complete assigned tasks.
• Use heat guns and other specialized equipment for cable finishing.
• Inspect completed assemblies for compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate production-task records using the Epicor ERP system.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address production challenges and improve processes.
• Perform other responsibilities, initiatives, and ad-hoc projects as required.
