About The Position

Skyline Products is an electronic price sign and transportation systems manufacturer in Colorado Springs. The Final Assembly role works on final assembly of products such as gas price signs and traffic signs. Duties include laying out and assembling components, electronic diagnosis and troubleshooting, electrical and direct current assembly, and fabricating cast and forged components to form structures. The role is based at the Colorado Springs distribution office and will service the main manufacturing plant in Colorado Springs. It is a physical role requiring frequent movement, lifting, and driving. The stated wage is $20–$24 an hour.

Requirements

Proven experience as an assembler in a manufacturing environment.
Technical knowledge to read blueprints and drawings.
Ability to use tools and machines.
Good understanding of quality control principles.
Excellent verbal or written communication skills.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to adjust focus.
Regularly sit and talk or hear; frequently stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms; and occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
Use hand and power tools to assemble manufactured parts.
Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
Assemble LED panels.
Perform final assembly of gas price signs and traffic signs.
Perform electronic diagnosis and troubleshooting, electrical assembly, direct current assembly, and fabrication of cast and forged components.
