About The Position

AerSale is a global aviation products and services company serving passenger, cargo, and government markets. The Final Assembly Mechanic builds landing gear assemblies, follows maintenance documentation and established quality and safety procedures, documents completed work, and prepares assemblies for shipping. This safety-sensitive position is subject to DOT drug and alcohol regulations and requires successful completion of a comprehensive background check. The role may occasionally require overtime, including evenings or weekends, to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• At least two years of previous mechanical maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in written, spoken, and read English.
• Successfully complete a comprehensive background check.
• Comply with DOT drug and alcohol regulations for this safety-sensitive position.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail, basic arithmetic, coordination, critical thinking, manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and near vision.

Nice To Haves

• Previous aircraft technician experience is preferred; aircraft technicians will be considered first.

Responsibilities

• Build landing gear assemblies.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and follow instructions in component maintenance manuals (CMM).
• Use precision tooling.
• Communicate and work with other departments.
• Prepare completed assemblies for crating and shipping.
• Document work performed.
• Follow quality and safety procedures.
• Maintain an organized workspace.
• Work overtime, including evenings or weekends, when occasionally required to meet deadlines.
