About The Position

We are looking for a Translator to translate written copy from English into Slovenian while preserving its original meaning, format, and tone. The role involves reading and understanding the context of each piece, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools, and proofreading completed work. The position is remote and is with an eCommerce marketing agency. The required availability is at least 5–10 hours per week. For the first six months, compensation is hourly and includes time spent researching, brainstorming, and proofreading. The company aims to provide a 10% increment during the first year of work.

Requirements

• Native Slovenian speaker.
• Fluent in English.
• Availability of at least 5–10 hours per week.
• Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or in a similar role.
• Excellent proofreading skills, including the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
• Good knowledge of content editing tools.
• Familiarity with translation software.
• Time-management skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
