About The Position
FuntoNetwork is seeking a Transit Maintenance Operations Planner for the upcoming project opportunity: GoRaleigh Operations and Maintenance Facility Expansion. This role involves translating fleet, staffing, bay, parts, circulation, safety, and future-capacity needs into operational layouts and transition plans. The planner will be responsible for collecting, validating, normalizing, and documenting source data, assumptions, business rules, performance measures, and analysis methods. They will perform required analysis, modeling, estimates, scenarios, reconciliations, or requirements mapping, retaining reproducible working papers. The role also includes reviewing findings with stakeholders, resolving data exceptions, evaluating alternatives, and documenting recommendations and decisions. Publishing approved datasets, models, dashboards, schedules, requirements packages, or reports with quality checks and acceptance evidence is also a key responsibility. The planner will trace assigned work to the RFP scope, requirement or RTM row, deliverable, dependency, acceptance criterion, schedule milestone, and supporting evidence. They will review official solicitation materials and addenda, documenting assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions. Additionally, the role involves preparing role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence. Coordination with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams is essential, as is maintaining status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records, and escalating blockers.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience performing Transit Maintenance Operations Planner responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
- Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
- Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.
