About The Position
FuntoNetwork is seeking a Transit Facility Construction Superintendent for an upcoming project opportunity: Design-Build for Transit Facility Upfit Projects. This role involves managing field work, phasing around transit operations, subcontractors, schedule, site logistics, and daily documentation. The superintendent will also be responsible for site readiness, mobilization, access, safety, sequencing, material, equipment, and outage coordination. Execution and documentation of installation, construction, maintenance, shipping, receiving, or field-service activities according to approved requirements are key. This includes maintaining daily production, labor, material, custody, safety, inspection, and issue records, as well as coordinating corrective work. The role also encompasses testing, punch-list resolution, reconciliation, turnover documentation, training, demonstrations, and client acceptance. Tracing assigned work to the RFP scope, requirements, deliverables, dependencies, acceptance criteria, schedule milestones, and supporting evidence is crucial. Reviewing official solicitation materials, documenting assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions are also part of the responsibilities. Preparing role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence is expected. Coordination with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams is necessary. Maintaining status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records, and escalating blockers before they impact submission or delivery readiness are vital.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience performing Transit Facility Construction Superintendent responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
- Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
- Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.
Responsibilities

- Coordinate interfaces and handoffs with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams.
