About The Position
FuntoNetwork is seeking a Neighborhood Rehabilitation Construction Superintendent for the upcoming project opportunity: Sanford NC – Jackson Heights CDBG-NR - 21-C-4032. This role involves coordinating rehabilitation crews, residents, inspections, schedules, site controls, change items, and closeout. The superintendent will also be responsible for ensuring site readiness, mobilization, access, safety, sequencing, material, equipment, and outage coordination. Execution and documentation of installation, construction, maintenance, shipping, receiving, or field-service activities to approved requirements are key. Maintaining daily records of production, labor, material, custody, safety, inspections, issues, and changes, and coordinating corrective work is also required. The role includes completing testing, punch-list resolution, reconciliation, turnover documentation, training, demonstrations, and client acceptance. Tracing assigned work to RFP scope, requirements, deliverables, dependencies, acceptance criteria, schedule milestones, and supporting evidence is essential. Reviewing official solicitation materials and addenda, documenting assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions are part of the process. Preparing role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence is expected. Coordination with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams is necessary. Maintaining status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records, and escalating blockers before they affect submission or delivery readiness are crucial.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience performing Neighborhood Rehabilitation Construction Superintendent responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
- Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
- Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate rehabilitation crews, residents, inspections, schedule, site controls, change items, and closeout.
- Complete site or receiving readiness, mobilization, access, safety, sequencing, material, equipment, and outage coordination.
- Execute and document the assigned installation, construction, maintenance, shipping, receiving, or field-service activities to the approved requirements.
