About The Position
FuntoNetwork is seeking a Transit Design-Build Technical Lead for an upcoming project opportunity: Design-Build for Transit Facility Upfit Projects. This role involves leading multidisciplinary design, constructability, scope integration, permitting, technical submittals, and design-change control. The Technical Lead will be responsible for baselining the role's work package, deliverables, resource assignments, dependencies, milestones, acceptance criteria, and reporting calendar. Key duties include coordinating client decisions and cross-workstream handoffs, maintaining the integrated schedule, action register, and accountable owners. The role also requires controlling scope, budget, risks, issues, changes, and quality reviews, escalating variances with documented recovery actions. Additionally, the Technical Lead will conduct deliverable reviews, obtain acceptance, complete operational handoff, and close the work package with a reconciled evidence file. A critical aspect of the role is tracing assigned work to the RFP scope, requirement or RTM row, deliverable, dependency, acceptance criterion, schedule milestone, and supporting evidence. The Technical Lead will also review official solicitation materials and addenda, document assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions, and prepare role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence. Coordination with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams is essential, as is maintaining status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records, and escalating blockers before they affect submission or delivery readiness.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience performing Transit Design-Build Technical Lead responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
- Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
- Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.
