About The Position

The Transfer Center Registered Nurse accepts incoming referral information through multimedia and works with bed management and direct care nursing to coordinate inpatient bed assignments, particularly for critically ill patients. The role monitors bed availability and coordinates assignments for patients in inpatient or outpatient beds and for patients moving between units or arriving from outside facilities.
