About The Position

The Transaction Coordinator supports mortgage originators under direct supervision by helping build complete loan files for submission. Contract to Close work may include monitoring transaction dates, sending and collecting forms and disclosures, tracking active loans, preparing and submitting applications and supporting documentation to processing, ordering specified third-party reports and services, helping resolve file issues and processor conditions, and providing administrative assistance through production and underwriting. The coordinator also maintains customer and referral-source contact and provides status updates in accordance with company policies. The role is prohibited from performing certain activities, including submitting documents to underwriting; helping borrowers complete applications or explaining documents, loan programs, or qualification criteria; quoting rates or making loan-lock commitments; analyzing customer financial scenarios or selecting loan products; and ordering non-third-party verifications of employment, income, deposits, mortgage, or rent.
