Dewberry is hiring a Training Specialist to join our Training and Development Team. Our team designs, develops, and delivers training solutions that align with Dewberry’s strategic business goals to drive organizational performance. This includes robust programs for employees enterprise-wide that build skills in leadership development, interpersonal communication, project management, and client management. We also manage the administration of courses for compliance with corporate policies and health, safety, and environmental requirements to support risk management. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a learning and development role. We are looking for a strategic thinker, enthusiastic collaborator, and exceptional communicator who is comfortable working with all training modalities and who is motivated to learn more about a variety of learning and development functional areas. The Training Specialist supports our training managers and interacts with facilitators, vendor partners, training participants, operations managers, and other stakeholders before, during, and after training events. The individual in this role must be a strong project manager who can support many different workstreams and portfolios. The goal is for the individual in this role to take on ownership of at least one training program, with increasing responsibility over time. This is a hybrid role; must be onsite in the Fairfax office at least three days a week. Some brief travel may be required, typically up to 4 times per year.
