About The Position

Mountain Lake Services is seeking a Clinical Training Specialist for a full-time position in Port Henry, NY. This role involves providing oversight and training to Direct Support Professionals, focusing on creating a therapeutic environment with a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach. The specialist will model clinical skills, guide staff in crisis situations (which may include night and weekend hours), and work collaboratively within a clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Model Clinical Skills for Direct Support Professionals.
• Provide direction and guidance to Direct Support Professionals in providing a Therapeutic Environment with a Strengths Based approach.
• Provide guidance, support, and modeling to Direct Support Professionals during crisis situations.
• Work as part of a collaborative clinical team using Trauma Informed Approaches.
