About The Position

Are you an organized multitasker with a passion for supporting team success? Join our Driver Safety & Training department as a Training Program Coordinator! In this dynamic role, you’ll provide essential secretarial and administrative support, maintain accurate training records and departmental files, and help monitor trainee progress. Your attention to detail and proactive coordination will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely completion of our driver training programs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent directly related work experience.
  • Proficiency in computer business applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Two years of experience in secretarial or clerical assignments reporting to senior management.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
  • Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
  • Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a driver trainer is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides moderately complex and comprehensive secretarial support to the Driver Safety & Training department.
  • Routinely updates and maintains systems, records, training files, and logs. Establishes and maintains departmental files.
  • Monitors training progress: assists/facilitates timely and successful completion of the training program.
  • Coordinates meetings, classroom sessions and schedules for trainers and students.
  • Performs administrative duties required by departmental supervision.
  • Schedules preventative maintenance for motorcoaches, tracks monthly mileage and maintenance costs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
