About The Position

Weatherford is hiring an experienced Training & Development Specialist to join its team in Houston, Texas. The role designs, develops, delivers, and administers learning programs that support employee performance, business processes, and system adoption. The specialist partners with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to create effective learning solutions, manage training initiatives, and drive adoption of Oracle Cloud applications through Oracle Guided Learning (OGL).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, training delivery, or related areas.
• Proficiency with LMS platforms and eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate, Rise, or Captivate.
• Strong facilitation, communication, project management, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Oracle Guided Learning (OGL), digital adoption platforms, or enterprise system training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning training, job aids, and Oracle Guided Learning content.
• Facilitate training sessions and support employee learning across diverse audiences.
• Coordinate training logistics, communications, enrollment, and attendance tracking.
• Partner with subject matter experts and business leaders to assess learning needs and develop appropriate training solutions.
• Maintain training records and reporting within the LMS and other learning systems.
• Track and analyze training metrics, learner feedback, and program effectiveness.
• Recommend and implement continuous improvements to learning programs and digital adoption strategies.
• Support organizational change and system implementation initiatives through targeted learning and performance support.
