About The Position

CODE Plus, Inc. is seeking a qualified Training Developer to support the Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) by designing, developing, and updating Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) Level 1 training products. This position supports virtual training development and updates that do not incorporate 3D models or simulations, focusing on Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) and GCSS‑Army capabilities as they are developed and fielded. The Training Developer works collaboratively with Government stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and technical teams to ensure training products comply with TRADOC Pamphlet (TP) 350‑70‑12, Army training development standards, and mutually agreed-upon milestone schedules.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience developing IMI Level 1 training in compliance with TRADOC 350‑70‑12
  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360
  • Experience supporting GCSS‑Army, EBS, or comparable DoD systems
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
  • Ability to translate complex system functionality into clear, effective training content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple development efforts and meet milestone-driven schedules

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Training Development, Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field
  • Prior experience supporting CASCOM or other TRADOC organizations
  • Familiarity with the Army Training Development Lifecycle and quality assurance reviews
  • Experience working in Contractor–Government collaborative development environments

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and update IMI Level 1 training packages in accordance with TRADOC Pamphlet (TP) 350‑70‑12
  • Develop training content using Articulate Storyline 360
  • Produce a minimum of twenty-two (22) Level 1 IMI packages per year supporting new or updated EBS and/or GCSS‑Army capabilities
  • Apply Army-approved instructional design methodologies to create effective, learner-centered virtual training
  • Collaborate with Government SMEs and functional proponents to gather requirements and validate instructional accuracy
  • Participate in establishing milestones and delivery schedules, mutually agreed to in writing with the Government
  • Ensure all training products meet quality assurance, usability, accessibility, and technical standards
  • Update and revise existing training to reflect system enhancements, fielding schedules, and policy changes
  • Maintain training documentation, version control, and development artifacts
  • Support Government reviews and final acceptance processes, coordinating with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)
