About The Position

Emplify Health is seeking an engaging and passionate Training Center Instructor to support healthcare professionals through high-quality education and certification programs. The instructor delivers Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training to employees, affiliates, community members, and healthcare providers.

The role includes preparing training materials, equipment, and course documentation; mentoring learners, instructor candidates, and healthcare teams; and supporting quality initiatives and continuous improvement of certification and training programs. The position is 0.75 FTE, or 30 hours per week, in the Integrated Center for Education in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Shifts are Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a health-related field.
• Two years of experience working in a healthcare-related field.
• Current BLS certification with hands-on learning from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Ability to obtain ACLS and PALS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
• Experience as an EMT, Paramedic, RN, or other healthcare professional.
• Experience teaching or facilitating healthcare education programs.
• Current AHA ACLS and/or PALS Instructor certification.
• Experience as an instructor for AHA, AAP, ENA, CPI, or similar certification programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses according to American Heart Association guidelines.
• Prepare training materials, equipment, and course documentation.
• Mentor and serve as an educational resource for learners, instructor candidates, and healthcare teams.
• Support program quality initiatives and continuous improvement of certification and training programs.
