About The Position

T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. The Role T1 Energy is looking to hire a Training and Development Coordinator to support the execution and tracking of training programs at our high-volume solar module manufacturing facility. This role plays a key part in coordinating onboarding activities, maintaining training documentation, and assisting with employee development initiatives to ensure compliance, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Industrial Education, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in a training or administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple training schedules and records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking in front of groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-based environment and interact with both office and floor-level staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of instructional techniques and adult learning principles is a plus.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Train employees in the classroom on assigned/required courses.
  • Coordinate and support onboarding sessions for new hires, including safety orientation, security orientation and introduction to production processes.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of training materials (manuals, visual aids, sign-in sheets, and digital resources).
  • Track training completion, certifications, and employee participation using internal systems and tools; maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Schedule and organize training sessions across various shifts to ensure full team coverage.
  • Collaborate with trainers, supervisors, and departments leads to identifying training needs and schedule appropriate sessions.
  • Support translation of training materials and communications for Spanish-speaking employees.
  • Assist with delivering group training sessions or one-on-one instruction as needed.
  • Help coordinate cross-training and skills development programs to enhance workforce flexibility.
  • Monitor training feedback and escalate areas of concern to the Training Supervisor for follow-up or process improvement.
  • Translate documents.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed.
