About The Position

The Trainer is responsible for running the Planet Fitness PE@PF group fitness program. The role helps new members work toward their fitness goals by designing simple workout programs and teaching them to use fitness equipment properly and safely. The Trainer also supports front-desk operations, member service, and club cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Conduct and run the PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
Consult with members about their fitness goals and teach them to use equipment properly and safely.
Develop creative ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups.
Create bi-weekly updates featuring a variety of exercises.
Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
Answer phones and assist callers with questions.
Check members into the system, sign up new members, and take prospective members on tours.
Change or update member account information.
Respond to member questions and concerns professionally and promptly, escalating issues to a Team Lead, MIT, or Club Manager as needed.
Help maintain the club’s cleanliness, neatness, and appearance.
