About The Position

The Trainer I is responsible for developing and conducting training programs and auditing tools for Centene Pharmacy Services employees. The position is primarily remote and requires availability to work Monday through Friday, either 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET or 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET. The role may require travel and includes other duties as assigned. The position supports Centene’s work to improve access to healthcare and help people live healthier lives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of training experience; experience in managed care or healthcare is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic curriculum development skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Nice To Haves

• Strong training and facilitation skills in a remote work environment.
• Pharmacy or managed care operations experience.
• Training experience in a managed care or healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analyses to determine specific training needs for Pharmacy Services staff.
• Identify, select, and develop appropriate training programs, including selecting or designing training aids.
• Evaluate training program effectiveness, including cost and benefit analyses.
• Research, analyze, and recommend external training programs.
• Maintain records of training activities and employee progress.
• Assist in auditing staff work and present findings and recommendations to management for areas of improvement.
• Assist with revisions to policies and procedures and/or work process development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
• Travel as required.
