About The Position
Timpte is hiring a Trailer Technician at its Aurora Customer Support Center. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and services trailers of all brands safely and professionally. The role offers a flexible schedule, including four 10-hour days, and no weekends. Pay is $24.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience, with potential quarterly bonuses of up to $5,000 per year. Requirements
- Ability to work standing and/or walk for up to 100% of the time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, crawl in and out of tubs and trailers, and work from ladders.
- Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds for a distance of 10–50 feet; objects over 50 pounds require two people.
Responsibilities
- Replace or repair damaged trailer panels, rails, and traps.
- Perform trailer alignments and adjustments.
- Repair and replace brakes, cams, and wheel seals.
- Perform welding on steel and aluminum.
