About The Position
Timpte is hiring a Trailer Technician at its Customer Support Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and services trailers of all brands in a safe and professional manner. Requirements
- Ability to work standing and/or walk for up to 100% of the time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, crawl in and out of tubs and trailers, and work from ladders.
- Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds for a distance of 10–50 feet; use two people for objects over 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service trailers of all brands safely and professionally.
- Replace or repair damaged panels, rails, and traps.
- Perform trailer alignments and adjustments, and repair or replace brakes, cams, and wheel seals.
- Perform welding on some steel and aluminum.
