About The Position

Timpte is seeking a Trailer Technician at its TIMPTE Customer Support Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and services trailers of all brands in a safe and professional manner. Requirements

• Ability to work standing and/or walk for up to 100% of the time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, and crawl in and out of tubs and trailers, and to work from ladders.
• Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds for a distance of 10–50 feet; objects over 50 pounds should be handled by two people.

Responsibilities

• Replace or repair damaged trailer panels, rails, and traps.
• Perform trailer alignments and adjustments.
• Repair and replace brakes, cams, and wheel seals.
• Weld steel and aluminum.
