About The Position

Supports resort operations by performing HVAC tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment.
  • Strong communication skills required to excel in interactions with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to be versatile, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid FL State Driver’s License to drive company golf carts.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification or HVAC license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform HVAC-related tasks including installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and support for other trades as assigned by resort management.
  • Complete daily work orders, guest calls, blitzes, and special projects efficiently and on time.
  • Install, maintain, and replace HVAC components such as condensers, thermostats, fan motors, and split systems.
  • Use and interpret technical documents, including O&M manuals and technical data, to ensure proper equipment handling.
  • Operate resort systems like HotSOS and maintain effective communication via radio, phone, email, and in person.
  • Follow safety guidelines, use appropriate tools and equipment, and identify/report safety hazards promptly.
  • Participate in procurement and inventory to ensure materials, tools, and parts are available when needed.
  • Represent the resort professionally by following policies, maintaining a clean appearance, and providing excellent guest service.
