About The Position

A Trades II - HVAC Technician supports resort operations by performing basic HVAC tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders. As a Trades II – HVAC, you will, Perform projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management Execute daily tasks and assigned projects in HVAC systems, supporting other trades as needed Expertly troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on split units, air handlers, condensers, ice machines, refrigeration equipment for food and beverage, appliances, and exhaust fans Install or replace HVAC components such as compressors, coils, refrigerant line sets, and other key parts Conduct routine inspections for safety, mechanical integrity, and quality assurance as directed by management Actively participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal communications Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort leadership Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools for HVAC work Work using ladders, scaffolds, lifts, dust masks, and in confined or narrow spaces Identify and report potential hazards on the property Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions to ensure resolutions Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership This individual must possess and adhere to the following core values: Integrity – Doing the right thing when no one is looking. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC trades within a resort or commercial environment.
  • Technical certification or HVAC license preferred.
  • Strong communication skills required to excel in interactions with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to be versatile, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
